After more than 40 days in our Sheltered Underground Hospital, we are grateful to share that our most vulnerable patients — nearly 300 in total — have now been safely returned to their regular wards. Once again, they can see and feel the warmth of natural sunlight from their rooms.

Within just 36 hours of the outbreak of the war with Iran and Hezbollah at the beginning of March, Herzog’s staff carried out the complex and delicate operation of transferring these patients underground — many of them hooked up to ventilators and monitors — ensuring uninterrupted care under protected conditions.

Throughout this challenging period, our dedicated medical teams remained by their patients’ sides at all times, providing not only expert medical treatment, but also compassion, reassurance, and dignity to both patients and their families.

This short video captures the careful process of returning patients to their wards, as well as the transformation of the underground facility — from a fully operational hospital back to a quiet, empty space.

We continue to hope and pray for lasting calm, and for a resolution that will bring safety and security to Israel and all its people.

We extend our great gratitude for your continued support, which makes our vital work possible.
