In the wake of Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, a massive wave of retaliation is underway.Thanks to the professionalism of our medical and logistics staff, within a matter of hours on Friday, we were able to transfer many of our patients to our protected underground facility.
Beds, heart monitors, respirators were relocated to care for these patients. The Sheltered Underground hospital was specifically built in the Samson building for exactly the situation which Israel is experiencing now.

127 ventilated patients from five different Chronic Respiratory Care departments were transferred. In addition, patients from the complex nursing and general rehabilitation departments were also transferred. We transferred over 60 babies andchildren in our chronic respiratory department to the protected underground facility.
Try to picture moving 200 patients-each one individually in an elevator with several staff people accompanying each patient. One to push the bed, another to make sure the necessary equipment was connected like heart monitor and ventilator stays attached, and one to make sure the patient was ok. Imagine that being done 200 times under extreme pressure as quickly as possible.
To date, over 200 adults and children patients have been transferred to our sheltered underground hospital or repositioned in the departments to ensure that they remain safe during the missile attacks.
