Dear Friend of Herzog Hospital,
While everyday life can face unexpected delays, care at Herzog Hospital never pauses.
When sirens sounded in Jerusalem this past year, our team transferred over 300 of our most medically fragile patients—many on ventilators—to our Sheltered Underground Hospital. While threats continued above, lifesaving care never stopped.
For 132 years, Herzog has promised exceptional medical care to the people of Israel whenever and wherever it is needed. Today, however, that need extends far beyond our protective walls. The physical and psychological toll of war continues to impact thousands. Every day, Herzog Hospital provides critical care to children, adults, seniors, and families facing severe trauma and injury—including those still working to rebuild their lives following the events of October 7th.
See how Herzog’s Sheltered Underground Hospital enabled our medical teams to continue providing lifesaving care during the conflict with Iran.
As one of Israel’s leading medical centers for rehabilitation, chronic respiratory care, and mental health, we are committed to restoring hope as well as health.
With your support, Herzog can continue to:
- Restore Independence Through Rehabilitation: Empowering patients of all ages to regain mobility, strength, and confidence following severe illness or trauma.
- Heal Invisible Wounds: Expanding psychotrauma and mental health services for survivors, young adults, and families struggling with the deep emotional impacts of conflict.
- Caring for Vulnerable Children: Providing lifelong specialized medical care including Israel’s only specialized educational program for pediatric respiratory patients.
Healing requires more than medicine—it requires deep compassion, total commitment, and the dedicated partnership of friends such as you.
As we welcome the Jewish New Year, we invite you to make a meaningful gift in honour of our 132-year legacy to help Herzog continue providing exceptional care to Israel’s most vulnerable patients, in both body and mind.
And the best news:
THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF ONE OF OUR DONORS, ALL GIFTS RECEIVED BY 30TH SEPTEMBER WILL BE DOUBLED!
Together, we can ensure that Herzog remains a place of healing, resilience, and hope for generations to come.
Wishing you and your family a Rosh Hashanah of peace, health, and happiness – and for all Israel.
